LCS Distinguished Lecture
Abstract
Before forming Adobe, John Warnock and Chuck Geschke both
worked at XEROX PARC (an institution famous for not
capitalizing on its technology). From there they formed
Adobe and built the company from two people in 1982,
to 2500 employees with a revenue run rate of nearly 1
billion dollars/year.
John's talk will cover the challenges he has
encountered in inventing, managing and exploiting
technology, and how his role in that management
process has changed over the years.
